10 Weeks of Baseball & Softball Development
LAUNCH by Galya Athletics is excited to partner with Long Branch Little League to bring a 10-week winter development program to its baseball and softball athletes. Baseball and softball train in separate groups within the program. Athletes will work directly with LAUNCH's coaching staff in an organized, age-appropriate training environment focused on building skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for the upcoming season.
Long Branch Little League is investing $4,000 to help make this training more accessible to its families.
What Athletes Will Work On
Every session runs the same core curriculum.
Hitting
Offensive development, stance, swing path, contact.
Fielding
Defensive fundamentals, footwork, glove work, positioning.
Throwing
Mechanics and arm care.
Pitching & Catching
Age-appropriate introduction.
Baserunning
Game awareness, turns, leads, reads.
Athletic Development
Speed, coordination, and overall athletic development.
Athletes train in age-appropriate groups with direct coaching and structured stations.
